Mandatory Information pursuant to Articles 3 to 6 of the Disclosure Regulation
Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector
Policies on the Integration of Sustainability Risks
When selecting insurance companies and insurance products, we take into account the information provided by the insurers. Where applicable, we do not offer insurers that evidently have no strategy for integrating sustainability risks into their investment decisions. In the course of individual advice provided in the client's interest, we separately set out where the consideration of sustainability risks in the investment decision entails advantages or disadvantages for the individual client that are recognisable to us. The respective insurer provides information on how it considers sustainability risks in investment decisions in its pre-contractual information. Clients are welcome to contact us with any questions on this prior to a possible conclusion of a contract.
Principal Adverse Sustainability Impacts at Entity Level
In the course of our advice, the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors of the financial market participants (insurers) are taken into account. This is done on the basis of the information provided by the insurance companies. The respective insurance company bears sole responsibility for the accuracy of that information. Any liability on our part is excluded in this respect. At present, such consideration can only be made to a limited extent, as the insurers' information is still being built up and may currently be incomplete.
Remuneration Policy in Relation to Sustainability Risks
The remuneration for the brokerage of insurance is not based on the sustainability risks associated with the investments. The amount of remuneration is neither positively nor negatively influenced by the sustainability risks of the investment.
Consideration of Sustainability Risks in Our Advice
In our advice on insurance-based investment products, sustainability risks are taken into account by using the insurers' pre-contractual information. If our due assessment shows a comparable or better return for a product that takes sustainability risks into account, that product is recommended as a priority.
